I just got claim get closed but didn't get a reply of wether it was rejected or approved. Any way to tell if it was one way or the other?

If i haven't received a credit after the case is closed, does that mean its most likely rejected?

Not sure why you would think that. If it only showed closed today then you'll get your email. Just be patient.

Money does not come easy

they did buckle down. Years ago I was able to easily claim up to 300 dollars without them asking for anything. :-

I bought my laptop 2 years and 3 months ago and it came with a one year warranty. Is there any chance they would still cover me for a repair ?

Doesn't hurt to try, but there really isn't a reason for them to cover you, it's past their extra year.

Did you only pay $75 on your Amex? Did you already file warranty claims reaching their total amount allowed per year (IDK what that is)?

Full amount paid on amex card

max claim is $10k, up to 50k per year - absolutely nowhere near that

Only thing i can think of was that the "repair estimate charge" was $75, and repairs were $400 or so...

Could it be they refund only estimate charge ??

If those are the numbers, resubmit. Or do it through cs? and have them help you resubmit?

I just got denied for a claim bec i tried to fix the item (ipad) myself which stopped the manufactures warranty hence stopping amexs warranty. I told them that i didn't stop the manufacturers warranty bec i tried to fix it after a year (apples warranty is only a year), therefore amex warranty should still apply. will they go for this?

Don't they only cover what the company's warranty would've covered?

Just filed a claim about a $70 shirt that shrunk while washing and i got a form to fill out plus a need to fax a store receipt and a repair estimate , i didn't save the receipt and the store where i bought it does not have the best service to give me a backdated receipt , what are my options
