I started using it, I actually like it with the recipe on the box as its filling even though it's not so tasty, I guess you can't get your kids to like it without adding sugar.

For breakfast, I'll often have 3/4 cups of 1-minute oatmeal, hot water, with some (about 10) nuts (almonds/walnuts), cinnamon, honey, and/or a few (less than 10) chocolate chips.

It's quick to prepare (1-2 minutes, with instant-hot-water), and it sweet/flavorful/interesting enough that I can have that most days without feeling deprived from something tastier. And I find it's filling for hours.

My point in mentioning the quantity is if you add a handful of (high-calorie) nuts and/or a handful of chocolate chips, you may offset much of the health benefits.

my point in asking how much, is because i tried to make it with cinnamon and honey it barely added any taste since i was afraid of over spicing with cinnamon  :)

chocolate chips I hear as its full of sugar, but what can be wrong with nuts?

Seed oils?
processed seed oils is the boogeyman.  Natural seed oils, with the seed, should be fine.

Nuts are very high calorie.  e.g. 14 almonds are 100 calories. A handful could be a good few hundred calories.

Quantity is an important variable, as weight is a factor influencing cholesterol.

P.s. 3/4 cup of oatmeal alone is 225 calories.
