YMMV... I recently tripped over an offer when I exported my Dashlane passwords as I do once in a while, and received an email offer from Dashlane for 50% off renewal subscription. Normally $59.99 per year, but the offer is for $29.99 to extend my subscription. Not sure if this was triggered by the Export, or if Dashlane is offering this in competition with the new Apple Passwords App.
When I logged in, I saw this: "50% off: This week only. We noticed that you recently exported your vault. If you’re exploring other options for your password storage, consider this: Get 50% off your plan when you renew this week. That’s the same great protection you know and love for half the cost. Code: STAY50P."
The email I received confirms that the offer runs through Sept 30th.
IMHO, Dashlane offers more flexibility (Mac, Windows, and mobile versions sync all platforms), and more stored data (IDs, Payments, Secure Notes, and even a VPN), so I will likely take them up on this at least for the next year.
