What discerning is needed here? The average reader doesn't know that media outlets post differing viewpoints? If what you're saying is that each outlet should stick to one viewpoint to not confuse readers... I'm not sure what to tell you.

In general you might be right but you have to see it in context. Look at the dates that they posted what view depending on the outcome.

Lol, is that what you guys are all upset about? You thought they posted the second article after the debate to save face for Walz getting obliterated? You could've just checked and seen it was posted 11am, hours before the debate that night at 9pm.

TBH I didn’t see the headlines at all other than here. I assumed that it was posted before and after.
Now that you’re pointing out the timing I’m actually agreeing with you that it’s completely normal and I don’t know what the op meant.
