Is it safe to use a sterno to roast marshmallows?

Google seems to be showing mixed results.
 Would you feel comfortable eating the marshmallows from such fire?

I wouldn't feel comfortable eating marshmallows at all, but I'd stick some chicken fingers in there without a blink

Coat with some diaper cream first, should be fine.

it says harmful if swallowed, so is that only in its jellied state, or also its gaseous  ;D
nothings impossible- the word itself says Im possible
