How to Port Out of Hello Mobile

Hello Mobile is closing and transitioning its users to Liberty Wireless. This process has caused confusion and frustration for many customers. Below is a guide to help you navigate porting out of Hello Mobile to a different carrier.

Account Number: You can find your account number in any old Hello Mobile email. Alternatively, you can try to retrieve it from the Liberty Wireless website or app (ymmv).
PIN: The PIN is the last 4 digits of your Hello Mobile phone number.

When users are automatically moved from Hello Mobile to Liberty Wireless, they are placed on the $9.25 plan, which includes:
1,000 minutes
Unlimited texts
4.5gb Data
There is also an unlimited talk/text no data plan for $5

Edit: Liberty fixes their address input, but still no customer service
Customer service from both Hello Mobile and Liberty Wireless has been reported as non-existent.
Issues with Transition to Liberty Wireless

Billing Address Problem
When attempting to add a payment card to Liberty Wireless, users have encountered a bug in the billing address form:
City field missing: The form removes the city input. Users have reported that entering "NY" in the city field allows the form to proceed.
Confirmation prompt: After entering "NY" in the city field, the form may prompt to confirm the city as "New York." Confirming this allows the payment to process further.

Card declined error: Despite fixing the city issue, users may encounter a message saying "card has insufficient funds," even if the card is valid.
Address Verification Issue
The Liberty Wireless website also experiences an issue with address verification:
Previously, the site used the Google Maps API to autofill addresses. This API was buggy and often missed the city field.
Recently, the site displays an error message saying "missing Google Maps API" and blocks users from proceeding due to "unable to verify address."
Lack of Communication from Hello Mobile
Hello Mobile's website remains active without any clear notification about the transition to Liberty Wireless. Users are left unaware of the changes unless they encounter issues directly.

Although I activated all my SIM cards. I still get emails that my lines will be disconnected. They are not indicating which line.
I contacted them via X. And was assured that my lines are good.  There is no issues

I got the new sim and activated it, haven't had issues.
What was odd is that to login to my account online I needed to use a slightly different path for the web url.
Otherwise it gave errors when trying to do anything on the my account page

Something along the lines of the network is shutting down.
@JOJO2020 insists that if we upgrade our sims everything will be fine.

Our issues of data are after upgrading to the new sims. For the first 2 weeks it was fine. It just stopped Saturday night.
As for the website, we haven't checked yet.

Turns out they claim we used up our data allotment for the month & therefore our data stopped.
This is very suspicious, as in the past we never exceeded 25% of our monthly allotment yet now they say we fully used it up in one week!
I think something about the new sim is causing the issue.

We received calls today from 7746748101 & 7164938835 saying our number will be disconnected today, press 1 for English, 2 for Chinese.
After pressing 1, it just repeats the same message.
Spam or real?

Actually hoping they get dinged badly enough on trustpilot to ruin their homepage (under 4 stars and it will turn Yellow) Join in if you were negatively affected. They should at least be upfront about their issues and mention when you order a sim card that they are not shipping for an unspecified amount of time,,
