Don't get carried away. For every miracle that worked, there are many others that..................  It"s an exercise of chasidus. So if you're completely immediate-observable-result driven, you may be dissapointed.

Just be clear that you are davening to Hashem, NOT the Rebbe (see ani maamin #5)

And I'll come out and say it. I have a brother who is alive today only because of advice in Igros and I find my shidduch (albeit through a long chain reaction of events) from advice in Igros.
Can we hear the story or is it private?

Which is why Rav Chaim Volozhiner allegedly wouldn't sing Borchuni L'shalom.

CM, I am going next week. I will take you to the Rebbe's ohel.
Unless he moved to BWI I will take you up on your offer at a later date.

You have me confused with Dan/AJK and others. I just can't fly off on a moments notice but we will make it happen.

Tell me when you want to meet in NY. The Ohel is in Queens, less than 15 minutes from JFK.

I've opened the Igros many times and not seen a relevant response (not saying it wasn't there).

There was one chapter in my life where I opened Igros three times and found a very specific response (it's personal, so I can't share specifics, sorry), when checking the indexes/searching, it's a topic with low occurrence in Igros.

Now we often use belief when we really mean opinion based on a compilation of facts which is what I think you mean.
If something is fact how can there be an opposing opinion?
Seriously? What is any opinion if not someone's interpretation of a set of facts or realities? Obviously you can't argue whether something's orange or not, but you sure can argue about whether one car is nicer than the other since one is orange vs brown (which are both established facts).

What does that have to do with Moshiach? A person puts up a picture of the Rebbe because it represents his connection to the Rebbe. Hiskashrus to the tzadik IS a central concept in Chabad (and of all Judaism.) Please don't mix that with Moshiach.
That is a MISTAKE. Hiskashrus to a tzadik is central to chassidus , it is almost meaningless to the litvak, modox, sefardi worlds .  come out in the sun sometimes :D

Oy, Yiddish grammar mistakes and Messianism. They go together like peanut butter and jelly.

The רופא חולים on the sign together with the yellow flag is the reason I posted this.

it's actually a quote from the rebbe himself referring to the bochurim as being דעם רבי'ןס קינדער

It's BASED on a quote of the Rebbe himself. Do you know when in Yiddish we see "Der" and "Dem"? In the Rebbe's sentence, it was grammatically correct to say "Dem Rebben's kinder."

Meh. I've seen worse. Sach Hakol they gave up some grammatical correctness in order to render the quote more accurately. I thought you were on about the Nun/Final Nun.

Back in my day I've seen some seriously hideous Yiddish by the Tzfatim but I believe they've since upped their game.
