Nothing wrong with making a profit, that was pointed out simply so the purchaser can know the value of what he's getting, and also as a response to:

There is no correlation for what someone has paid for something and the value the purchaser is getting. If the OP receives the coupon for free or paid 200 for it, the value to me is the same. If this was for Lawry’s I would jump all over it.

Sorry I am not up on what is kosher. Lawry’s is basically prime rib. I ate at Ruth’s Chris last week and would have to give it an A, Lawry’s A+ but I love prime rib.

True, but i think AJK's point was that the street value of a coupon can often be a lot less than it's face value.

The point is, just because it's almost half the face value doesn't necessarily make it a "very good deal"
