As deal season approaches, get an extra Mitzvah when you find a good deal and post it here.

I run my Shuls Avos Ubanim, and would love some help finding good toys/games deals.

Our budget is around $5 - $30 depending on the items, $150 per week for 10 prizes. Ages are 4 - 12.

The board games on sale now have many good choices.

Bought the, C4, trouble, Ladders, sorry, from Walmart for $5 each.
The Super Mario Monopoly was decent price by Amazon bought as well.

I find that board games are not as popular since many families already have the basic ones and older kids consider them nerdy. I find that card games are more popular.

The regulars. Monopoly go, sleeping queens, spot it, clue, etc. Board games that are beyond the basics are also good.

One thing to keep an eye out for to give older kids is tools sets like multi tools (without a knife) and all in one screw drivers etc. Bike accessories aren't as good as they once were with everyone riding segways.

No prize can be too frequent, but with food there is no need to worry about a kid getting the same thing twice.

Ollie's has a great toys section if you live near one. On December 15th  or around then they hold a 25% off all toys Christmas sale. If you buy then, you will get prices not beatable online.

I've bought nerf guns, drones, crazy cool remote control cars and comic books there and good prices.

I think Avos Ubanim prizes need to have an excitement factor to them. They don't need to be toys that will last long, but they need to give boys a reason to want to come. Often it's the gimmick toys that work best, the remote controls, the things that fly, the niche tools, etc.

Yes, but as long as there’s a chance to win a big prize, the other prizes don’t have to be massive.

You can use https://wheelofnames.com/ to have them spin to see what prize they won, once in a while someone will win a drone or bicycle, the rest of the time they’ll go home with a yoyo, game, etc.

I remember when yo-yos were INSANE I have fond memories of a silver wing shaped yoyo w 2 brains and then a blue one with FOUR brains. You could not beat my yoyos
