Then you need a professorial (if the OS doesn't see the data portion, formatted or otherwise, then no software can find it for potential recovery.)

Any recommendation? (I'm located in Lakewood, NJ). Also, any idea of how much I should expect to pay?

Question for anyone familiar with DiskDrill:
I canceled a recovery that was in progress because it was taking forever, and then started a new recovery on a much smaller subset of files (into another location). Does anyone know if the files that were recovered before I canceled the first run will be recovered again in the second run?

iPhone 13 freezes at boot up, at the apple logo. Looking to recover (not deleted) data from it. Any tips? Googling just brings up those shady SEO brands with a lot of word salads and not much content. If someone that actually has experience with this can help, I would appreciate it.

Separate Queston:
Old Android phones with a lockscreen password that the owner has absolutely no recollection of. Any way to pull the data from it? (1 of them has a counter with only a few tries left before it erases fully, the others just make you wait in between guesses) These are old Android versions so if there are any old loopholes...

i am helping someone with an old dell server. the OS itself is running off 2 drives mirrored which 1 is bad.
that isnt the issue.
they also had a web server with i beleive a raid 5 and 2 of the 5 drives seem to be bad.
adding images of the drives from startup menu and also image of the computer management. the unknown disk of 272.96gb , wonder if that is the OS mirror or raid?
any help is appreciated!

A friend asked for help recovering photos from a micro sd card that was accidentally formatted. Recuva, DiskDrill, and PhotoRec found nothing. Is it worth trying any other programs?

"Partition: Read error" would indicate an actual issue with the card.

While not sure what would be the next best step, I'm curious if it was really only a Format and not something more that was going on with the card (maybe that was the reason they formatted it). Also, what's the current status of the card in Windows Explorer and in Disk Management.

The story I was told is little boy looking at pictures on big sister's camera, poking through the menu, finding something called Format and wondering what it does.

But then I'm pretty sure the card was inside a laptop's card reader for a few weeks while they tried to figure it out, so I wonder if that contributed to the issue.

I'm on a different computer now, I just put the card in and it actually opens! But there's basically nothing inside, just a few empty folders.

I don't have DiskDrill on this computer but I'll try photorec or testdisk.

I wonder if it'll find everything or just some.
The only difference I can think of is that now the MicroSD card is inserted straight into a computer vs plugged into an adapter (other computer doesn't have a MicroSD slot).
Maybe the adapter was a bad one...? Who knows!

Okay PhotoRec found 7 pictures, which is nice I guess, but not quite all of them

Trying TestDisk now and it says this:

Do I want to Copy boot sector over backup sector? Or Rebuild boot sector? Or Dump boot sector and backup boot sector? Or none?

As said, I cannot guide you on this. But Boot Sector doesn't seem to be relevant at all here, so don't go there.

You need some sort of (no modification to the drive) full disk scan for data to recover or undelete.

Installed Recuva on this computer and running a Deep Scan to see if it does any better
