New Verizon Wireless Promo (can stack!)

Ok - so not everyone was targeted for the previous $10/mo/line loyalty discount, but this one should work for everyone that has Verizon wireless AND Fios.

For years, I've been getting a $10/mo FIOS discount on our Verizon Wireless account for having both services. However, I was not aware that there is a way to trigger a $10/mo PER LINE instead of per account. All I had to do was to enable "One Verizon ID."  Once you do that, go to Account -> Bill -> Bill Overview -> Savings Details & New Offers -> Mobile + Home -> Enroll.

If you have FIOS GIG or higher, you'll get $10 off per line on your Verizon Wireless account ($5 off per line if you have less than 1 gig).

I did it yesterday and within an hour it was added to the account.

I found that, I already had it enabled and I only get the discount on one line ETA before I re-enrolled in the mobile & Home discount and I looked at my next bill estimate and it shows an additional $10 off one line plus 2 cheaper lines got $5 off each Thanks! (but not 100% sure if I already had it

yes I have 1 gig. The lines that got $5 off are unlimited welcome

Before clicking enroll, there were terms and conditions that I’m sure explain who qualifies for the $10 vs $5 discount, but can’t seem to find it after already enrolling.

I like my autopay discount but unfortunately it only works with a checking account or Verizon VISA. I am unclear on if you can use VZW gift cards. Does anyone have concrete info on this? I was also unable to find VZW e-gift cards.

 I've been thinking of switching from tmus for a while since we have fios, after looking around and speaking with a rep, I believe that the $5 is for welcome plan and the upper 2 - ultimate and plus - get $10...

Also if you add all the extra discounts I noticed that with fios + auto pay + byop (new members), getting 4 lines is often cheaper than 3 or even 2 lines bc they don't scale down the rebates at all and it's all based on $s vs %s. For example you can get 4 lines on the lowest plan for $60 (4*15) vs 2 lines for $80 (2*40)...may be old dansdeals/info but I had a good laugh and probably will switch at this pt....

My MIL gets it.

This has been the case for a while now. Im not sure from the verbiage if this changed, but the home+mobile discount amount DEFINATELY used to depend on the order you signed up for services and which plans you chose. If you had vzw and added fios, you would only save $15-$25 on FIOS, but if you had FIOS and added vzw, you would get $5-$10 off per line, depending on FIOS and VZW plans chosen.

I thought it had changed that everyone now gets both discounts no matter what once they are linked, but I cant find that anywhere now. Sounds like if you have fios and add vzw or if you have both and merge them into one login, you get the vzw discount, but if you have vzw and add FIOS you only get the FIOS discount. So depending on plans and number of lines, act accordingly.

Some important items:

2) You can link with another person's account! Note: Customers will not incur additional financial obligations by enrolling in the Mobile + Home Discount Program and linking their Verizon Wireless and Fios accounts. Late payment on one account will not affect services or the status of the other account, though it may affect your Program Discounts.

3) Depending on your plan, you may be eligible for other promotions on your account along with Mobile + Home Discount. This includes discounts for first responders, military members, nurses, teachers or students. There are also some limited-time Verizon mobile and Verizon Fios joint device offers, as well as Auto Pay monthly discounts, which may be available if you sign up for Auto Pay and paper-free billing. There are, of course, some exceptions. When you enroll in Mobile + Home Discount, you'll be notified of any discounts that can’t be combined.

Another little tidbit. Companies can enroll FOR FREE for verizon Deals at Work to offer their employees $5-$10 monthly discounts on FIOS, depsnding on plan chosen. Not sure what can stack with what, but this is something every company should offer, along with mobile discounts from the major cell carriers.

This used to be called Verizon Connections btw.

I pulled the trigger yesterday only to find out you get only 1 side and not for both wireless and FiOS. I called up FiOS and the lady just said no can do but she added a random 10 off for a yr to be nice

Better than the reverse where you only get for FIOS. Can you share your setup? You have both services now? are they under the same login or no?
