Best Way to Book LY Revenue Ticket?

Booking revenue tickets for my family of 6 (with 1 under 2 years old) on LY to TLV. What's the best way to book these tickets to get points/miles back & potentially ancillary benefits?

Consumer Platinum gives you 5 points per $ on airline spending, and has insurance benefits.

I would book on capital one portal
1. to get yourself 5x points on flights
2.   "price match" go to Google flights and find the cheapest available flight and they will match that price (though it will be a credit and not refunded directly)
So you'll get the points and you'll get the best price, and you'll get they're customer service which I have had a great experience with.

In any case you won't be able to make any changes to your itinerary on ly if the flights are sold out which usually happens couple weeks before a flight nowadays, unless you do it by a travel agent that can waitlist the ticket.

just to sum it up you gotta know what your giving up by not booking elal by a travel agent,
2nd the Amex personal Platinum gives 5 points by most Travel agents atleast for the base of ticket if there is an upcharge, be clear ask your agent

Seems like I found a couple hundred bucks of arbitrage if I book through Jetblue for LY.

Question is: 1) They don't bifurcate between Classic & Flex in Economy - I assume it would default to Classic?
2) Any reason more preferable to go through a Travel Agent or direct through El-Al? Would dealing with Jetblue to change or cancel be more of a pain than other options?

Appreciate the help - never really flown El-Al before

I recently booked a few tickets through Jet Blue cuz' it was cheaper, it's considered a regular ticket just you can't get upgraded. (or choose a meal)
