Westin Charlotte facbook insiders club. 250 starwood points?

A couple of weeks ago I signed up for a promtion for the "Westin Charlotte facbook insiders club" which I was told I would receive $250 starwood points.
 I was told I would receive an email to fill out my information. 
I received that email today, but something sounds fishy.
They want me to reply with my name and address with my SPG number.
It sounds funny that such a large company does not even send you a form or something encrypted.
Should I be worried about identity theft?

I did the promo. I'm not worried.
