Fidelity - 50k UA and 50K Delta and Apple GC

+1 Called Fido RE a trade and Gal  I know for years said did u try to get the miles bonus. Even after she looked into it with a friend in that department I was told 1 year and a few days from last bonus,
which for me was the Apple GC

Well I got 3 bonuses last year, so it goes from when I got the final one or from when I actually got the specific bonus that I want to get again?

ie delta, united, apple- Got delta in february and apple in april. Do I need to wait until feb or april?

  April . One year from your last promo bonus. I have to wait one year from apple bonus to decide either DL  or UA .   

  Not even sure you can get the same promo a second time . I  Was not allowed

1) Can I close the fidelity account as soon as the miles post? (T&C say it must be open at least 6 months)

Thanks for bumping this thread, I was going to do it myself soon.

Anyone plan on doing a round 2? I scored 175k miles out of this last year, and wouldn't mind a few more miles this year.
If you are doing this again, what's your strategy?

I didn't close mine right away since my understanding is that the t&c is that it's a 1 year wait from the last promo, and not account closure.

I think I got my miles in fewer then that time. Perhaps a few weeks.
Read earlier in the thread to see if anyone has any data points.

Fido has cracked down.  I got bonus 3 X last year but now they count 1 year from previous bonus . If you figure out a way around it great . Going to be tough cause linked to Social Sec #

Correct, that's why I'm waiting one year.

It's been mentioned  in other forums that Fido got wise to that also.  I churned last year but deposited
full amount this year , and intend on keeping the cash in for the 6 months .

I will not violate their T C s and will be eligible for bonus again in a year.

PS even when you wait one year speak to a rep because computer will auto deny as
happened to me . They had to manually post miles

Are you playing with multiple SS#s? Bc otherwise it would seem that your posts contradict themselves....esp in response to my 1st Q:

I have left the last funds in from jan 2013 and will not risk next years bonus, so will leave till July
at least .

If question is directed at me Yes I did sat year . This time one 100K transfer
