Fidelity - 50k UA and 50K Delta and Apple GC

I got the email yesterday - within one day of signing up. And when I've tried similar things last year, the email has always come within 3 days. So maybe you'll be okay.

Did you sign up with a new account, or the same account that got the DL promo in the past?

I did delta promotion last year. When I tried to do it again last month, I first got email that I was registered successfully. Then within a week, I got email that I was not eligible this time. I talked with representative on the phone, he explained that one household can only get it once. He can not overrode it manually. I was not happy, and I have a good amount of money in Fidelity. But they called me two times to ask me what they can do to make me happy, and told me that I can do the Apple gc promotion, they can low my trade fee, blabla. Just they can not override for delta promotion. Maybe I was not lucky. 

i know in general not to call but fidelity will sometimes overide it manually .

listen there is 2 sepearate situations here

1) first time customer and getting all 3 bonuses
2) people like me who have gotten bonuses in the past ( over 2 yrs ago) and want to take advantage of a current offer like delta or apple . Alot of times if it has been a long time plus new cash they will be willing to give it you.

they said i can get the apple gc, the question is if i can churn the $ in and out to get the 500 gc? any personal experience who has actually gotten the card?

Same thing with me -- sent all kinds of sm's even got reply from executive office , they would not move -- had to do apple g.c

thanx reuven for the info - but can u answer the second part? what to u mean transfer do u mean withdraw and redeposit?

Deposit it in, after a week or so it will show as being available to use, and then transfer it back out
Rinse and repeat

The bonus is for first time account holders only.

The terms state that "Only prospective customers who currently do not have a Fidelity retail account are eligible". Doesn't that mean that if I close my account first then I am eligible?

I spoke to someone on Flyertalk that has gotten it on 2 individual accounts, and now he is trying for a joint account. He told me he will let me know what happens.

Don't understand what you were trying to say.

Basically, the new deal is that you can still go for the Delta miles, plus you can have your spouse go for it too, since its now 1 per household.
Also, the Apple cycle must be done in 30 days, not 90 days like the other promos. So if you want $500 GC (in my dreams!) you need to complete the transfers within 30 days.
