Yep, but you can't beat me, I'm doing it X5
Yes.You don't need to open up all the accounts st the same time...And IIRC, you have 60 days to deposit.
Data Point:Finally got the full 100k in my account.Called them up, and she said they would manually process the points, and it can take up to 4 weeks. Once I receive the points, I have to pull out around 30k, so we'll see what happens from a clawback perspective.I also want to do this w/ my SO account, in which case I'll have to pull out almost all the money.
Data Point:Miles posted! Now onto my SO. Hopefully, my account won't have a problem due to 6 month rule.
IME they did not. You should not worry about it.
A friend of mine registered for the promotion, did the transfer and got no points. So he called and was told that he is not eligible for the promotion and any future promotion because he transferred his money out after he got points last year.
That seems a little harsh and in conflict to the above post by Drago. Why didn't they give your friend another chance like they did for Drago's wife?
why didn't you tell fideltiy rep that drago's wife on ddf was told he'd get the points
I will tell them about Drago's wife if I have to call in.
I received my 50k AA miles in early April 2012 and then withdrew the funds over a period of a month or two afterwards.Should I sign up again and hope for the best that they don't deny me, or should I wait till May to be safe?
and can you put the miles in to someone else acc.?
