Raynaud's - any tips or tricks?
« on: January 01, 2025, 08:04:23 AM »
Anyone have experience with Raynaud's Phenomenon? (It's when the circulation to finger tips is limited in cold weather, and it can be really painful and debilitating.)

Any tips or tricks to reduce pain and improve circulation? (Aside from the standard "wear gloves and keep warm")

I see nobody here has reynauds,
Nothing helps me. Gloves don't either help me. Once my hands are cold it's practically game over until I get to a heat source. It takes 2-5 minutes until my hands feel frost bitten (obviously depending on how cold it is).

I always tend to imagine that what Dovid hamelech had was similar to that. Clothing doesn't keep you warm.

My father has told me that vitamin E helps with circulation but I'm not a vitamin guy so haven't tried it.

Ever tried heated gloves? They have a heat source in the gloves themselves.

Really interesting. I never heard that before, but a quick Google search seems to confirm that. Thanks!

In general, mittens keep fingers warmer than gloves; the fingers share body heat.

Along with coQ10 and l-arginine
All not expensive and relatively safe to try
