I typicalaly use hebrew words mixed with gematria either pronunciated or using the english keyboard with the keys of the hebrew letters. That sometimes even adds symbols.

I've always memorized numbers but used the symbols above those numbers instead.
Also good to use the spacebar. It counts.

I found it confusing because too many sites disallow it.

I highly recommend using Chrome's "suggest password" feature (or something better like a PW Manager but I personally don't). It goes a long way.

And if you use any four words that are not related to each other, your password strength is significantly higher. However, "correct horse battery staple" is cracked instantly thanks to this webcomic.

Yes, but say you use the password "Goalposts" for many websites (including your bank) and one of your accounts get hacked because the admin of that site does not use good security. Now I know your password and can try it with your bank.
