1) once you port out your numbers you cancel the account...very hard to get around

2)you can mention to them that this is something that will make you stay

3)almost positive once you pay the bill that follows the changes
3) Even if payment is made after the due date?

Not sure. The way it works is that when you pay you accept the changes.

1) Thanks. Technically, even if I cancel by porting out, once they apply the fees I can argue that they should be waived due to changes in the agreement. No?

2 )I'm not looking to upgrade the 3 lines for now. What I'm mainly interested in is getting new phones for ALL 4 LINES although I just upgraded one of the lines a month ago.

1) I would confirm first that they will do it if you have four lines you could get stuck with up to a $1400 bill ($350 * 4)

2) Im not sure exactly what you want but depending on how good a customer you will get it

 u got a service credit for 100?

Yup

I am a great longstanding customer... Spoke to them numerous times. I'm not as optimistic as you for some reason. Would you call them for me?  ;D

You wish...:)

Look for a special customer service line to call, I think I used one posted on SD.

I called up and said that there were some changes in my contract and I would like to exercise my right to leave. I was put on hold and they told me that the difference is like $2 a month.
I told them every month  its a new thing and Ive had enough.
She then tried to bully me into sending her all my phones I told her to go to hell.
They offered me $100 and I said that Im leaving because I need a plan with 7 lines, she put me on hold and returned and said I can do it.
I did it and she gave me that extra $100 as well.

Ok, So I called sprint, (Account Service Dept.). And I gave it to them. I told them that I feel I am really being taken advantage of. Starting from when they took the corperate discount off of everything to just the price plan. Then they added the $10 data add on, and now they are pulling shtick, which isn't even straight; because the defenition of a "family" plan is 2 lines under one plan, and now they are putting the second line as an additional line. Bikitzur they gave me $75 . Then I called back again, and they gave me another $50. And no I don't feel like a ganiv for calling twice. Because the sly people deserve a taste of their own medicine.

Based on the above, I intend in calling a certain person that works for Sprint and DEMAND, that they let me upgrade all 4 phones cause technically I could've left and come back a day later and get 4 new phones.. Yes.. I know I'm pushing it a bit but I'll give it a shot. At this point in my life I won't exactly be switching back and forth to another company.
The question is as follows: Since I'm coming with such a strong "demand" and my 27% discount is the Citi employee one, will they look into my discount and do I run the risk of losing it altogether, or is the discount there to stay and they won't really address the veracity of it?

IME they never mentioned my 27% discount (different corp).

For the record, if you leave Sprint and come back, you have to be gone for a certain amount of time (3/6months or something) to get 'net customer pricing'. Also, if you leave Sprint, you'd have a hard time getting that discount back.

Really? It's enforced? I was gone for like 1-2 months 2 yrs ago and got "net customer pricing" just prior to leaving I had upgraded all 4 lines and left before the remorse period was over. Maybe that's why they allowed me new phones again?

Satmar's not able to do it anymore these days?

Maybe they enforce it, maybe not. Either way, the retention CSR can cite the policy and call your bluff, be prepeared!

I wouldn't know. I got it the easy way, back when you could sell Sprint CSRs the Brooklyn bridge 3 times in one call and they'd pay a higher price each time they bought it...

I have "Everything Data" it's a current plan.

+1, me too.
