Some people take their politics very seriously. It's as if you touched the golden calf. No point in trying to get them to actually listen and read. You would get the same reaction if you did this with Fox from the other side. Most people are normal, though. Keep on going.

I'll start off with a disclaimer that I didn't listen to the podcast.  I am active on DDF and appreciate reading about the variety of topics that are discussed here.  With that being said, I feel that some topics should be limited to DDF.  There are quite a few reasons I feel that way.  This is one topic that I am read about with interest on DDF but felt uncomfortable about when I saw it posted on the main site.  Nothing at all to do with politics.

I specifically stated that I was interested in the topic when I read about it on DDF.  So it's not the fact that I'm not interested in it that makes me uncomfortable with seeing it on the main site.  But in either case, it's irrelevant.  If I felt uncomfortable and so did other people (as per the comments on the article) I would think that Dan would take that into account in the future.  Yes, I can choose not to visit Dan's Deals but is Dan looking to alienate a considerable portion of his readership?  Just food for thought.

On the other hand, I personally know people that were never dansdeals followers, not interested in travel/credit cards etc., they listened and very much enjoyed this podcast.
