What's pshat? Who self-reports that "hello, I am racist, so therefore I agree I shouldn't own a basketball team." If he sees that racism is so bad, why is he racist?

Let's theorize that he just wants to sell the team. But if you put your team on the market for no reason, people query whats wrong with it.  So you need a reason. So he remembers that he is racist.

Totally bizarre. I read the whole email. That's not called racism. In fact, in the very email that is supposed to be racist, he explicitly decries "racist garbage."

There is something fishy here.
