You know things are about to come crashing down when they hit the front cover of Bloomberg.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Anything that hits the front cover of any national magazine is heading in the other direction.

In what way do you anticipate CSR to come crashing?
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

You may see more 100k and other mega offers in the future but with hefty annual fees attached

What a stupid op-ed, I find that 100% of the people running these think-tanks are ignorant buffoons,
Going into Libya was a disaster, invading Syria would have been a catastrophic disaster

Barclaycard tried that, and ended up with the "Military Luxury Gold Card", as everyone else closed theirs....

You call that a crash?
The AF on CSR with this offer is a no-brainer! I already got $300 back before first statement closed, and with the ability to use UR at a guaranteed minimum of 1.5 cpp, making the bonus worth at least $1,500, how could I go wrong with this? I am not a churner, but would take more of these in a heartbeat.

I was saying you might see more companies get on board because people are so mileage junkies

But unfortunately they are creating more rules like 5/24

Therefore the Rabbinical Council of America declares that each of its members must utilize, in any wedding at which he is the officiant (mesader kiddushin), in addition to a ketubah, a rabbinically-sanctioned prenuptial agreement, where available, that aids in our community's efforts to ensure the timely and unconditional issuance of a get.
Whatever that means.

Imo the earliest you need to say is when accepting the offer, and that's only if Tom tov is within the first month or 2 of the job starting.

I do agree with what he says about something actually being a religious requirement. A guy once told me he needs to leave extra early on Fridays - his kids need to take baths!

I'm no expert in this area but I do know some black hat Yeshivisha rabbanim that agree but are scared to say so publicly.  It's always insightful when you speak to them privately.

They've come up with this resolution several times, but it has never caught on. It's a wash and rinse resolution.

Whereas even those members of the Rabbinical Council of America (RCA) who follow rabbinic authorities who rule differently than those of the BDA can use a different prenuptial agreement that meets the requirements of their rabbinic authorities

So why does the RCA not just adapt a universally accepted prenuptial that does not strongly favor one side?

There is no universally accepted prenup.

So what's the real point? Create a bunch of women who think that they are divorced, but are considered still married by too many significant poskim? Is this a real solution, or is it a solution to preserve a dying brand?

Why would they think they're divorced without a get?
If you don't care why would you comment?

He's saying with a get that was only given pursuant to a prenup.

The a get produced by their prenuptial is considered a forced get by Rav Elyashiv, Rav Moshe Shternbauch and so many others. A get may only be forced in very instances, once a legitimate beis din has made that determination. The woman thinks that she has a valid get, but there is a very serious cloud surrounding her future children.

Here we go again...R' Moshe allowed the condition to be included in the Tenoim. That Teshuva has since been edited out of the new printing of the Igros Moshe. It is however still in the old version and R' Perr is still around to ask whether he got that psak.
Fair warning - Any PMs sent in response to forum posts are fair game for ridicule in public.

So Reb Moshe's sons are choosing to hide this psak? Are you implying that not only are they hiding it, but that they're hiding it in order to torture women or to play fast and loose with halacha?

Why didn't Rav Moshe insist that couples should sign this agreement (which didn't really surface until several years after his passing)? Why is it that Rav Moshe's students have not taken on this mission, and instead left it to he the calling of a dying brand?
