You always try the I am smarter than you route when you get cornered. You claimed a child needs a father and mother figure growing up. So I will ask you again. Would a child being born to a single parent be better off being put up for adoption according to your way of thinking?

Better off? Possibly.
But forced adoption is not what's on the table here.
I don't think that gays should be allowed to adopt foster children but I also don't think that a gay individual who used to be in a healthy relationship and has full custody should have his kids forced away although I do still think its unhealthy.

You still can't tell the difference between removing a kid from his birth parent and placing an abandoned baby in a new home with a single parent. You won't see anyone back you up on this point, that I'm sure.

Look I don't think gays should be allowed to marry. I don't think they should be able to adopt. I am not going to hide behind they need a mother and father growing up.

John Wayne Gacy could raise a child (not now) but I wouldn't let him adopt.
