Agree. Should raise taxes bit allow you to check a box on return to pay lower rate

Yup, the whole thing is a bust. Lots of people shop out of Chicago, and those that don't, will move out of the county, if/when this beverage tax happens. I have 10s of those thick plastic bags piled up at home. Worse than the thin ones.

This reminds me of the famous I've cream truck man in 5T, Tiny. Anyone who grew up there (at least in Lawrence) knew him and bought from him as a kid. He died about a month ago, but had been working his ice cream truck into his 80's. They're making a street after him in Inwood.

I decided to search about American values, found this article pretty interesting and informative. Some of these values are so ingrained in me that I didn't realize there's something unique about it.
