I would disagree, I think they did a fairly good job at explaining things without really taking a side in anything.
Really?
1) the torah has things confusingly, but not to worry - we've since combined what they consider two different holidays into one passover.
2) Putting aside kabbalistic sources that there are other, deeper meanings to having two days, there's an implication that reform judaism are the ones following the letter of the law here.
4) It's all about traditions based on mistakes.
5) And science and technology have made all those rabbinic decrees outdated, dontcha know?
