Top comment on any given reddit thread is usually fairly clever and quotable. That's what the whole site is built for, propelling the best content (including comments) to the top.
I'm just gonna piggy-back on this comment to tell you about this one time my mother went to get auto insurance. Now this was back in the day when you had to uses faxes and stuff. Anyway, she was running late because one of my brothers wasn't feeling well and needed to be picked up from school a bit early. When she got to the broker's office, he apologized because he was meeting another client and couldn't deal with her right then. She came back the next day and signed the policy.
The next year my father had to renew his policy and you'll never believe it, but he was also running late. Only this time it had nothing to do with my brother - it was my sister who needed to be picked up early from school. Also, it wasn't like she wasn't feeling well, the early dismissal had been scheduled long in advance, but my father simply forgot and booked the meeting by mistake. To cut a long story short, he finally gets to the meeting and the guy says, "I have no one else waiting, we can sign this thing right now." And they did.
The point is, if you're telling people about the good content being pushed to the top, I figured I'd warn ya'll about expanding a Reddit thread, no matter how good the top comment is.
