I don't think gays should be allowed to adopt, kids should go to a normal healthy family environment. But parents of any religion should be able to adopt.
Who is to decide that religion is healthy and gay parents are not?

Religion isn't healthy or unhealthy. If parents are good they're good and their religion does not matter. To state the obvious- As gay parents, they are depriving the child of the natural and necessary child rearing that the child deserves, ie. a mother and father. Both religion and nature can agree on that. Once I'm discriminating, I may as well add that disabled and the senile should also not be allowed to adopt.

What happens if one of the parents dies? Should a child be taken away from the remaining parent and put up for adoption?

So would you say it's better to stay in what is generally an awful foster care system than potentially have 2 loving parents?

Earlier this year, engineers at Wal-Mart who track rivals' prices online got a rude surprise: the technology they were using to check Amazon.com several million times a day suddenly stopped working.

Cute but it exposes your flawed logic.

You leave them in foster until you can find a pair of normal parents.
Just because they are loving parents does not mean they are capable. And if you're incapable I don't care if you're straight or not or if you love kids or not.

And why can't two same sex people capable of raising a healthy loved human being?  (I'm asking seriously)

Exposes? It was the worst response you can ever give.
Obviously you can't force a good parent to give up their own child.
When a baby goes up for adoption you don't allow single parents to adopt despite the prevalence of single parents in America. You look for a normal situation or you put them in foster care

They are obviously mentally unhealthy.

If you can't get it, sorry for you, but I explained already.
A kid needs a mother and father figure. They are incapable of providing that. That is besides the other mental issues that gays commonly have. When going for adoption we shouldn't place kids in suboptimal environments.

According to you being a good parent doesn't matter. They need a mother and a father. So which is it. Would the child of a single parent be better off be given up for adoption?

Is this the law according to yuneeq?

Not law but common practice at some of adoption agencies.
Obviously if the kid is older (let's say 13) and loses his parents and has a single capable relative that wants to adopt that would be a situation worth exempting. In a case of a baby up for adoption I don't think it would be right.
