yup that's probably the craziest part of this agenda the actual percentage of the population is so much smaller then the perception they create.  there are actual studies that show that people think the percentage of the population is gay is around 20 percent when it's actually around 2 percent

what percentage of Americans are gay partners living as couple with children? its less than 1/5 of a percent yet that's who they choose for a "typical" home.  they couldve chosen a Scandinavian - Asian American  paraplegic couple and it might be more statistically probable

there are obviously a lot of dynamics at play but when it comes to corporations it's purely a business decision and that's when the battle is lost. Google has obviously decided that it's good PR to be perceived as a champion of this social justice cause and so have many others....

Because it makes them able to say they are doing something good for the world and not just being selfish and caring only about making money. There are also many activist investors who are busy with this.
