So advocate for training! I don't have statistics, but I wouldn't be surprised if more people are killed by motor vehicles than by guns, yet we allow all to drive motor vehicles as long as they can get a license which requires skill. We take that license away if they violate too many laws.

Without giving an opinion on guns in general, the comparison to cars is ridiculous. Guns do not provide the massive benefits to every day life that cars do. There's a risk/reward balance to everything in life.

A few years ago in midtown cops shot a guy 5 feet in front of them & innocent people 50 feet away in all directions were getting hit. They actually thought there was a shooter on the loose until they realized it was all the cops bullets.
