Comment there,
"Most people believe that's true. But it simply is not. I multi-listed in Ohio after being on the waitlist for 8 years in Colorado. I am far from rich - I'm not even middle. But there was reasonably priced housing in Cleveland and my family kicked in. I did NOT have to move there. And Cleveland Clinic sent a jet (theirs) to pick me up. They never charged for it, and haven't figured that out yet (2 years out). Just saying, yeah, Steve Jobs had a lot of money, but I was on SSDI and had family help. Also, Jobs had to wait his turn, just like the rest of us, too. How long did I wait for the Cleveland liver to come through - after officially being listed after much evaluation - exactly 45 days. Cleveland is aggressive and there are more organs. But I also got a split liver - a large cadaver liver came in and the surgeons there split it so that two people got new lives. Yes, lives"
Add to pros and cons?
Pretty good deal to buy a house in CLE and get an organ...
