I can only imagine the CNN photo op opportunity of a lifetime, Israeli soldier brutally pointing an assault rifle at a helpless teenage girl lying on the ground. Instead, the soldiers have to profile each threat and see if it’s something worth reacting in a military manner. Even if it puts them at greater risk.

So Israel soldiers are not allowed to defend themselves?

In any event, from the limited knowledge of Arabic that I have, I think they are screaming at the soldiers to get out (after watching the entire clip, it seems like they felt that the soldiers were on their property, or trespassing some private property). The restraint shown by the soldiers is based on orders they get on how to interact with provocations.

No they can’t defend themselves properly.
And CNN is notoriously anti-Israel, and has done plenty of these photo ops. Nothing to do with US politics.

So a drone violates airspace and it gets shot down. Then they bomb the source. A solider gets assaulted and is not allowed to do anything. What's wrong with this picture. This is one time I will say Trump would have had the right response.
