Realistically I think this is way too far off to try and figure out the economics of it. Who knows what the world will even look like by the time this becomes possible. In fact, I think we're more likely to have something space rocket based (if Bezos and/or Musk aren't already planning this I want a cut :P ) long before this.

I’m not an economist, but this is how I see it:
Even if, all in all the price of flying a square foot is the same in these planes, including time gained on aircraft and crew maintenance gas etc.
1.You would still be dealing with a plane smaller than a 737.
2.most y pax are equating comfort=$ and that includes saving time, how much of a premium would they be willing to pay to get ny-Lon in 2 hours ? (I don’t think more than 25%)
3. How much premium pax would be willing to pay for a j seat which would mean significant space used or a domestic f seat
While these are arguable, the only way I think this can work, is if it’s cheaper than the current price of flying a square foot, which I don’t think is happening anytime soon.
Feel free to argue
It is much deeper. Revenue business class pax have one thing in mind and that is to be able to reach their destination without feeling like a chewed up sardine so that they can do what they need to effectively. cutting the travel time down to 2 hours does much more for that than a better seat.

"A man in his underwear ran onto the tarmac at Atlanta's airport, jumped onto the wing of a Delta plane, and pounded on the windows while screaming at passengers inside."

There's basically no detail about the existing and/or proposed regulations they take issue with in the article. And if you paid $900 for a dishwasher and it doesn't clean in one cycle, you got ripped off - nothing to do with regulations.

Did you follow through the links? It is a commentary article so for the underlying reporting you will need to do that.

The current lineup of dishwashers take much longer than the old ones and a normal cycle will not get as much as the old normal cycles when you are dealing with pots and pans.

No. That's my point - not that they don't exist, but if you're going to take the time to write the article, at least explain the basics of what's going on.

I guess I'm in the minority here. I paid less than $500 and have no issues with things not getting clean. And I'm not sure why cycle time is such an issue for people. The vast majority of the time I run it overnight. I guess I use it differently than many/most.

I never have room for my cholent pot since it's always after shabbos and there are too many other things. We end up letting it soak in the sink with soap and water and cleaning it by hand later. Not that it would fit on the top row anyway. How big is your dishwasher - or more likely how small is your cholent pot?

This is the format of the column-to be discussing what others wrote-and not to be its own source of info.

I want to have the second load running overnight.

I don't think most people have 20 kids ;D. I don't have enough stuff to warrant a second load. I doubt the average consumer uses it that way either.

It can be from pots and pans as well.

Probably a mistranslation.
