What's your opinion on Disney+? I personally don't think it will make any significant difference to Netflix. Neither do I think that they will be very successful.

The article makes a compelling argument.  What's your opinion based on?

https://finance.yahoo.com/news/student-loans-women-194505040.html

Quote
Researchers surveyed 1,000 college-educated adults across America and found that 37% of women did not understand the basics of student loans — which are things like timelines, monthly payments, interest rates, tax implications, refinancing and evaluating lenders, before they borrowed — versus only 20% of men.

“One of the factors contributing to this divide is the education gap between men and women,” Laurel Road SVP of Capital Markets Noah Cooper told Yahoo Finance. “Men were more likely to understand common finance terminology, retirement savings, and the ins and outs of investing.”

Well, well, well. Men and women may be different after all.

After a few weeks it’s no longer in theaters. You can’t buy it. You can’t rent it. The only way to watch is to subscribe to Disney’s steaming service, Disney+.

For example, the only place your children or grandchildren will be able to see Toy Story 4 and Frozen 2 may be on Disney+.
Pirating is gonna go way up.

Seems super gimmicky to me. Why in the world would they opt for a bipedal design rather than a more versatile and stable design with 4 or more feet?

This is where the big future of autonomous driving is IMHO. Now how does one profit from it?

Buy stock in the companies developing the technologies?

Ford’s decision to go with two legs, instead of wheels, came with help from researchers at the University of Michigan. “Our world is designed for bipedals—us,” Stephens said. “So there's an inherent attractiveness to a bipedal robot.”

I saw that, and I think the "attractiveness" is just another word for a gimmick. Just look around at how much people love their pets. 4 legs would definitely be more efficient than 2 legs, and 6 or 8 probably even better, and possibly a combination of legs and wheels would be the most efficient.

They're trying to make the dessert in to the main course.

Yes they had and will have a lot of must see  blockbusters but those won't be coming once a month to keep you subscribed.

The only people who I can see would stay subscribed are the families with young kids.
