From the article it seems that they will be basically charging interest as rent, which makes it no longer tax deductible, and they also get to keep some of the appreciation of the house if it is not paid in full before sold. Looks like a horrible proposition for the buyer.

The only surprise here is how come FedEx (ground) is still in business. Last week they dropped off a package addressed to a different street in front of my house, and this morning they dropped a package addressed to a different building at my office building. They never even attempt to make proper delivery, they just dump the package at the entrance and move on.

I've heard bad things about FedEx from a friend that ships between Israel and China. I guess they're inconsistent and experience depends on location.

UPS is consistently better.

The nature of online clothes shopping requires that you be able to return. These stores just like complaining. How do they expect anyone to buy from them if they can't try it on and decide? Hard for me to believe it's worth it for them to start charging for return shipping....

Fedex in my area is a complete disaster. When I see that my packages are being delivered by them, I know I won't be getting it.

Seems like for my UPS packages the "delivery exception" is the norm, as many packages wind up being delivered beyond their intended date.

And I kind of like the fact that Amazon will take a picture of the package outside the door so that you actually can see that it made it to your door.
