"Marginalized voices" (as in "Including marginalized voices in the Orthodox Jewish community has always been
at the core of the show’s mission") is fairly ambiguous. Here's a "progressive" article on the show circa Season 1:

Which is why a large segment of the modern Orthodox movement have a little to do with orthodox. Last I checked homosexuality is one of The Big Three, for which one is required to give up his life rather than succumb to. Why not celebrate Jews who have turned to Buddha while you’re at it? And if the point is not to celebrate them but rather to highlight their challenges, “to give a voice” to them, why not include a down syndrome child, a paraplegic, and a mentally ill person who thinks he is Napoleon Bonaparte on your show? They represent a far larger segment of the population then do homosexuals. Obviously this is agenda driven, and it ain’t a Torah agenda that is driving it...

As much as I'm sympathetic to people in extremely difficult circumstances that they did not choose, this statement is correct.

How do you justify marching in pride parades?
