I'm not a mumche, but I can try.

If a get is not given willingly, it is invalid. If the pre-nup says that the husband has to pay $x a week until he gives the get that is likely considered "forced"

The RCA pre-nup trys to avoid that issue by saying that he has to pay that sum until he comes to beis din. There are rabonim who say that halachikly it's a distinction without a difference.
im just arguing in svara I have no clue if it’s accurate: shouldn’t you say if he has to pay a lot of money to withhold a get it shud be called wanting to give the get to get out of paying all that money? Also when he signs the pre nup in the beginning of the marriage hes effectively agreeing (and therefore wanting) to the conditions therein
nothings impossible- the word itself says Im possible

https://news.yahoo.com/news/news/homeless-woman-oregon-died-while-184255969.html
True story. I was the court appointed guardian for a person who was missing. His grandmother died and left him about $35k I searched and found him working for the Times Square Alliance, an organization that tries to help ex-cons, former drug addicts and homeless people back on their feet. And the only reason I found him wqs because he was mentioned in a news clipping that he had returned someones wallet that was lost in Times Square.

Hashem always repays kindness.

He wants to get out of paying. He doesn't want to give the Get.

I don't think it matters what he wanted when he got married, what matters is what he wants when he hands over the get.

And when a Beis Din is kofin oso ad sheomer "Rotzeh ani," what does he want then?

(For CV: Force him - i.e., inflict violence on him - until he says "I want to.")
Do you want to play a board game, digitally or in Lakewood NJ? PM me. (Can be asynchronous, i.e. take turns whenever)

That is Correct, according to some reshonim but the accepted halacha is that it is not valid.

This only works if he is already required (Al pi halacha) to give it. The pre-nup puts pressure on him before it gets to that point.

This is likely the Gell-Mann Amnesia talking - but I found this interesting.

Good grief. What is interesting about a flaming pile of hogwash and nonsense?

Dunno - as an outsider I have very limited knowledge of the inner workings of chabad, so it was interesting. But apparently it's fiction - and I appreciate that you pointed this out :)

There's more truth in this uninteresting article, and there's precious little of it here too:
https://www.vox.com/the-goods/22454885/who-pays-for-credit-card-rewards

Nothing but creating "facts" to fit the narrative of a sorry agenda.

The basic premise of it a ridiculous on the face of it. If the rewards cards are profitable for the bank or are expected to be over time, then they pay for themselves. If not then why are they doing it?

Exactly.
Same for stores. Taking credit cards means less employee theft and that people spend more. Otherwise, they would just say cash only.

Sorry. I thought this comment was referring to the Vox article. Now I see that I misread it. The other issue I am not going near!

I can take all his "facts" and turn it into an article on how credit cards are a tax on taxpayers (people getting paid on the books), while cash payers (generally gig workers or any worker getting paid under the table) come out way ahead.
I'm not who you think I am.
