Crimes that are considered exceptionally heinous by society have no statute of limitations. As a rule, there is no statute of limitations for murder.

Generally when the supposed murderer is dead the statute of limitation is over. I can quote many cases even up thread that can prove that.

Anyway his statement that the bible is inrefutable is laughable.

Unfortunately he's not the first one to do this, he just may be the first one to bring it to a civil court. For thousands of years Jews have been executed because of these allegations.

AFAIK all religions make this claim in one way or another. That is where they all have a lot in common, they are all wrong!

That was my point. To say it's irrefutable is silly.

I don't believe the the Torah is irrefutable, I believe everyone has free choice whether to believe it or not. And in my eyes it is 100% true.

I think you missed my point but that happens a lot to me. In his eyes the Bible is 100% true and you think that is silly. So when you say in your eyes the Torah is 100% true I say you both have a lot in common.

Here is what he said: “Evidence today is on record in the Bible, and you cannot discredit the Bible,”  That is no different than saying the Bible is 100% true. AFAIK this is the same claim made for the Bible, Torah, Quran and others.

I do not agree with that statement. I think people can discredit the bible in their minds and they do not have to accept what it says. It is an individuals choice whether to believe or not.

...but he believes it can't be discredited. If you can discredit the Bible you then are discrediting the person's religion that he believes in. This goes for any religion.

His point was that the bible would stand in court. That is sheer idiocy. I'm not sure which part of this we are not understanding each other.

This needs a new thread but if you believe the bible can be discredited then  why do you believe it's 100% true. To me the logic doesn't flow, it's as if you're saying I believe 100% in something that isn't 100% true.

If it were to be proven wrong hypothetically, why would you continue believing its true?
