To combat this, Badatz charges 10-15% less than COR for their fees. Huh? That would only even things out if the cost of the product was 100% hashgacha fees!!!
If they are correct that the final product is marked up an EXTRA 10-15% just because of exorbitant fees (and they think COR can still break even with a drop in prices so dramatic that it would have a 10-15% affect on the final product price), they would need to drop their fees a lot more to eliminate that!!!
