I’ve been heads-down the last few months building SlickTrip.com—a tool designed to help travelers monitor flight prices and alert you the second they drop. Get instant email/SMS notifications so you never miss a deal.

Since y’all are the experts at squeezing maximum value out of every trip, I’d love to hear your honest take:

What features would make this actually useful for your deal-hunting routine?

Are there pain points with existing tools that we could solve?

Any “why doesn’t XYZ just do this?!” gripes we could steal?

Nice site.
Two haaros for now:
1. Codeshares should be made obvious on the search page and not require clicking flight details to discover it.
2. Sort by arrival and or departure time is not available. This is crucial for someone booking self-connections, and for people flying Erev/Motzei Shabbos/YT.

for hotels, include an option to find cheapest 1 or 2 night stay within a time period (with specific preferences)
example:
I'm looking for the least expensive stay in a 4 star hotel for one night any Wed or Thu night this month within 10 miles of downtown Chicago pref w a pool.....

similar search option for flights would be great:
looking for r/t tix leaving MIA area to LAX any Tue morn returning Wed night-during any week w/in next 2 months. must ne non-stop and on one of 3 alliances

I've been getting alerts on a few one way flights consistently, but yesterday added a new united RT flight, price changed and haven't received any alerts. Not sure if it has something to do with RT or united.

Ended up receiving the price drop and the increase alerts together. Probably was just a temporary issue.
