Usually when someone sends me money through QP, the funds are available in my account within a few hours. This time, I accepted the payment on Sunday, was "processing" until this morning at which point I got a message saying that they placed a 3 day hold on the money. Anyone have experience with this?

Chase>Chase transfer?
Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.

Sounds like the person that sent you the money doesn't have Chase which I'm that case it would take a few days for the money to be available.

I know he has chase and he's quick paid me before and it was instant, but I thought of that after I posted and texted him to see if he sent it through another bank. Is there a way for me to tell?

You got a message that it's on hold or you see that it's still processing on the QP activity?

Text message that it's on hold and QP page says processing. It posted to my account but funds aren't available yet. Anyways, he got back to me. This time he sent it through his other bank account (not Chase).

You will get a call asking about the transaction most likely.

Even two chase bank accounts?

You're limited per username.
Same account on two usernames is ok.

I don't know how extensively it was utilized otherwise, but QP is going Chase to Chase only.
