What are the options?
I remember during corona @ExGingi had made a website with options... Are there any updates on that?

It would be helpful if we could get a nice wiki going here, bec this is quite a common need for anyone who is no longer covered by their parent's US based medical insurance and is visiting their parents for YT.

We should also include plans that cover pregnancy, as this is also quite a common need.

Squaremouth.com returns a bunch of results.

I've found that the kupot cholim offer travel insurance (through a third party) which costs considerably more than those offered on squaremouth, but with much better coverage. Personally, I go for the cheapest option, but almost all of those do not cover pregnancies. BH so far never had to file a claim, so I can't help with that.

What do you mean by  much better coverage?
The patriot plans give you a us hmo card and low deductible

IMG gives a PPO card (UnitedHealthcare). The lower the deductible, the higher the premium (generally $0 deductible is about 20% more than $250 deductible).
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

Don't remember exact details, just mentioning other options

Are we talking about Israeli citizens or just people here on visas?
This site is pretty good, and then if you have certain credits cards they have deals (max has a discount with AIG)

Honestly, a relevant question for both.
There are many long term residents of EY who just have visas.
