Yes -- A few locations in that general area would work.
LA, Manhattan Beach, Agoura Hills, etc...
End of December is good? Feb.? (How many #people max capacity needed? I have some ideas and contacts...)

I think for convenience & lowest cost LAX neighborhood is best.
Right off 405 freeway, glut of properties so negotiating for good deal should be easy & also easy for Dan in/out, etc.
But fi he's coming w/family then they should definitely something more scenic.
Ideally I think a beach area hotel.  Redondo Beach has nice hotel across from beach adjacent to the pier.
Santa Monica does also but price significantly higher.  Lots of choices but I don't think Downtown LA (DTLA) is one of them!

I have a place in LA that can seat over 100. I work for the organization and can arrange a deal (basically get it for free...)
I'm talking more centrally located- on Pico.

Methinks it depends if there are first class accommodations in Zvill or Ulamei Beis Yisroel. Cttoi, Tamir has a hotel with suites.

Kanner is a central LA location and I can call someone for that one --
Could seat 300+ people....

The SLS is nearby; I think that Dan's points and plat status can get him a great suite.
The W Hollywood and the W Westwood are great, too -- Near Kosher restaurants, etc...
