Netspark blocking android auto
« on: April 18, 2025, 05:59:03 PM »
I contacted netspark and they agreed it can interfere. They tried some backend changes but it helped for one day and stopped again.  Android auto works when it's connected via cable but the Bluetooth won't work.  It keeps saying to turn off the VPN.   Does anyone know a workaround for this?

Any filtering service that uses a VPN will cause issues if using wireless android auto. No real fix that I know,  other than using wired.

Thanks.  Sounds like you understand this....
Is there a filter that doesn't use VPN?

(I'm not even sure what VPN is!)

Yes. Most professional filters use proxy filtering.

I think the only mobile filter that uses proxy are the Livigent based filters (Gentech, meshimer and Geder).
MBSmart can also be an option (as they don't use a VPN or proxy)
