Believe it or not many of us actually do that. If you are too lazy to search, that's your problem, but please don't call others lazy when they actually put in effort each and every time before they post.
Not we start the misinformation campaign. Who did I call lazy?

The search fuction just crashed!  :P

Here is where you said that.

For everyone that claims they search every single time before they ask a question you might want to rethink that. You are most likely mistaken or do not know how to use the search function. I would hate to resort to the “gotcha” game but you might not leave me any choice.

I know what I said. Where did I call someone LAZY as you stated?

??? Are you following? Didn't we already establish that someone who doesn't search is lazy? Therefore when you said that I should rethink about everybody searching - you are implying that we don't all search.  Thus you are calling me/us lazy.

Stop trying to twist what I said. Now you are using the word “imply”. Give me a break. I never implied or called anyone LAZY. This is the schmooze forum so I am going to not let you off the hook like I have done before. Keep digging your hole deeper.

Here you go. Do yourself a favor before you even look more foolish! I thought you search every time before you ask a question?

Hey geniuses and lazy guys,

How about one sticky thread (I even would say it should be locked), that is an introduction/manual, and must read for every new member.

Btw, the search function on ddf does suck big time.

I use my own search that I created (for those bothered to search for it).

It interesting to note that there is no forum rule to search before asking a question. Maybe those who feel you should search before asking a question should try and get that put into the rules.

Pointing out to someone that they are violating the rules actually does have an effect. Much more so than telling them to just search.

The rules say:
"-Perform a search prior to posting a new thread to see if it's already being discussed."
I think that's enough to say, which you can understand from here that you should make a search before posting a question.

Btw question doesn't mean every and any question! It means that yes, if you're in middle of a back and forth conversation with another member and u have a question and it's been asked before than not a big deal. The big deal is if u start a conversation asking a question w/o searching.

I will never tell you to search and will answer your questions if I can. No fight going on, just some good clean fun!

Stop trying to add things!
Stop acting so dumb!

Let me ask you, When the rules say don't open a new thread but make a search first, what does that mean?
Does it not mean that the reason he doesn't want a new thread for every persons question is that there shouldn't be a bunch of duplicate posts all over?
As for what I understand you're saying, that if I have a question I'm not allowed to open a new thread with the question if I didn't make a search but I can ask it in any thread that is in that category?!
Whats the diff?
