  To be honest I've purchased scratch and dent sales in the past including Amazon fire tablets, and I will say they looked like a brand new device.

Mine was probably the same as yours. Various scratches on most of the pieces, and along the bottom where the vaccum hits the floor when you put it down, tons of scratches that make it look like it was used for a year or two.

I preferred to just return it, since it only came with a 90 day warranty and who knows if amex will extend (because it's refurbished). I'd rather spend a little more (even if I'm getting a 'cheaper' vacuum) and not worry about it dying in 3 months!

I was not expecting woot to send out a vacuum that was used for 3 years.

 I've ordered many refurbished product over the years never had a problem or an item that was used for 3 years.
 That is really weird.
