Hey Guys,

Will be with my brother in LGA, BOS, TLV and ZRH (Zurich). (All twice). I don't have any cc's that give me lounge access. Was thinking about going for the Amex Plat. but can't commit to the $400 fee...(I know I could cancel but don't want to have a Credit pull for no reason...and dont want to try to downgrade either).

What would you say are the best lounges and does anyone have any passes for sale for them. (Is united the only one that people have "extra" passes for)? Any of these lounges have Kosher stuff.

Also (sorry its the wrong forum) but any tips on upgrades in SWISS airlines - Sorry if this is a stupid question...is their a such thing as upgrade passes like with AlaskaAir.

Also, I know it was answered on the forums (just cant find it) but can I use my AAdvantage CC Free checked luggage allowance on a Avios booked AA Metal flight. Do I just add my #?

When are you flying? Yes u could get the free baggage dan has a post on it. I think just make sure u have the aa number on the ticket.. Think you could call to have it done.

Going to Israel with the $500ish Swiss airlines deal from Boston. Jan. 6th - Jan 25th.

Using Avios to get from NY (Where we live) to Boston - 11 Hour Layover in Zurich - Israel.
Same way back TLV-ZRH-BOS. and than BOS-LGA.

Found two $200 SWISS vouchers for $100 on ebay so that brought my fare down to $400ish each ticket.

Its my first "booking"...I found out later there were direct Elal fares for like $700 from JFK so at the end of the day its not the biggest savings. Im not flying in J class

or anything special lol .

Plus, I booked direct with SWISS and they charge $25 each leg to make seat selections which I wasn't gonna pay.

For all I know me and my brother could be seated on other sides of the plane.
