I've taken my girlfriend into at least 7 different lounges in 4 countries and every time I was let in with her as a guest for free....i have never gotten a bill from them either..

Thanks, just called and it looks like AMEX only cancelled my Priority Pass card, not the cards for my 3 AU's :D

I tried to go into the Delta lounge w/ Amex plat while not flying Delta that day; they told me I wasn't allowed to be there. Is this correct?

But for AA and DL that's true.

Cancelled my Platinum card last week. Received a letter from priority pass stating that my account had been downgraded to a basic account. They seem to be getting more efficient and tracking cancellations between their two systems.
