the original question was if the next 2 months should be a full-time Fish course plus 8 hrs/day taking tests.

This is to boost an original LSAT score from 2 yrs ago after lots of practice, but no formal classes.
To aim higher -- ideally for full scholarships at a T14, non-NY school.

Needed to know this week for fish's course, but also to take off work for 2 months and just study, practice, study, practice, and repeat.

What was your original LSAT score two years ago?

Registration deadline is Motzei Shaboos.
One friend is argued that ideal place to take is Touro because they are not as hyper-strict. Other friend recommend Temple University in Philly. What was your experience?

Touro was chilled, we even waited a few minutes to start cuz someone forgot to bring their picture.

I took at the Islandia Sheraton way out in Islip.  It was a really big room with a zillion people, but the creature comforts were good--nice comfortable tables and chairs, lots of space, AC working well, goblets of water put out for us, uniformed people directing us to restrooms during the break.

best place to take the LSAT has gotta be Tel Aviv in June. went for a walk by the beach the night before, had a room with like 20 people maybe, and Avira DeEretz Yisrael machkim...

Columbia and NYU are my top choices, but scholarship $ will play a huge role in my decision.
With that being said, does anyone know which schools have either: 1) a large # of Orthodox Jewish students and/or 2) surrounded by Frum community.
I'm really interested in Michigan, Georgetown, and Penn, and UChicago but don't know much about the areas. If anyone can help me out here I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

Michigan- Detroit is close enough (Southfield is 40 mins).
Georgetown- Silver Spring is close enough. Baltimore is further, but also acceptable.
Uchicago/northwestern- Chicago
Penn- Lakewood. Or philly
Stanford/Berkely- Palo alto has a kollel
Harvard- pretty much is a yeshiva. And boston is community
Yale- New Haven has a community, but you could honestly commute from monsey


Pretty much the only hard for frum schools in the T14 are Duke and UVA.

Penn is a great option because Bala Cynwyd / Lower Merion is an amazing community. Couldn't have been happier spending three years there.

In addition to those listed, we researched Emory and it's ranked around #17, and good for Jewish students, not sure how many are Orthodox. 5 minute shuttle from Toko Hills; good shuls & apts, and Kosher restaurants in the overall area. Better winter weather than most of the others listed.

A sister unit in my agency (NYC Department of Social Services) is hiring 5 attorneys to work in adult protective services and related litigation. The hiring level is Agency Attorney Interne at $60,755 per year. My agency generally promotes to Agency Attorney I after six months. • Represent the interests of the Commissioner of the Department of Social Services in NYS Family Court litigation to establish paternity and orders of support for children in receipt of public assistance and Medicaid.

• Appear in estoppel hearings and trials. Seek penalties on violation of support petitions.

• Determine the advisability of presenting witnesses, admissibility of types of evidence and matters of legal strategy.
