-1 my rosh yeshiva has a vocabulary that could make your head spin. He has written many letters of recommendation for law school applications. They don't give those jobs to chimps. There are many rosh yeshivos that are both polished and worldly. Especially in today's world, being able to relate and navigate is crucial.
P.s. You would never tell by looking at my rosh yeshiva, frock and long white beard like the rest.
And if you don't believe him, read today's WSJ

I just got an email from the LSAC that I need a letter from my rabbi to confirm that I’m sabbath observant. Does anybody know if it needs to be from a known organizations letterhead or any generic letterhead is fine?

My shul created a letterhead for the rabbi to sign on.

So I can basically create my own?

Not gonna get into details, But how big of a deal is it if I change my scheduled graduation date from December 2018 to march 2019. I already submitted the schools to LSAC CAS.
Do they allow me to change that?
Is it suspicious at all?
I did not apply yet but would like to ASAP and want to have this sorted out

TIA

ETA: PM me if you want the details and think it might help answering the question

Called LSAC.

They don't let you switch unless the transcript says the scheduled date of graduation (which yeshiva transcripts don't).

They said I can apply anyways and the schools will see that I am not graduated.
I just think that sounds way too confusing and I already have a screwed up enough transcript to begin with.

Don't know what to do.

I got my score on friday and it’s a 168.
I have two options now.
1) Apply now to fordham and hopefully get accepted with a nice scholarship.
2) wait for next year, retake the LSAT and hopefully get into the 170’s and apply to NYU and Columbia.
Any advice anyone?

what do you want do as a lawyer?
Then decide based off of that.
If you are big law or bust then definitely wait.
If not then you have to figure what your goals are

If you just want to practice "local" law don't even bother going to any school that you would have to pay for.

Obviously there is a lot more to this but you get the idea

Both. Apply and take it again, then re-evaluate based on new score and whatever Fordham offers you.
If you don't care why would you comment?

If I give a seat deposit will it make it harder for me to negotiate a better scholarship?

Almost certainly. You're supposed to negotiate beforehand.
However, if this is the first deposit, maybe deposit at two schools. It'll cost more initially, but if you're able to get a bump in scholarship from one of them, then it's obviously worth it. I'm pretty sure you can deposit at two places for first deposit, second deposit you definitely can't. Confirm this though.

Supposedly May 15th the schools see who is double deposited so by then you should really be deposited only at one school.
