-If you plan on using public transportation, get an Oyster card. They are much cheaper and easier to use than conventional travel cards, and never expire. They can be bought in many stores in London, or online. These days one can use contactless credit cards instead of Oyster.(Check here to see if your foreign contactless card will work.)

-Here is a handy planner for the public transport system.

-DD's Kosher Sandwiches can be bought in most major airports and stations and at some supermarkets around London.  Check here for a list of locations.

-Kosher in the West End/City -
Selfridges food hall has a variety of kosher groceries and prepackaged ready food by 1701.
Hermolis  also have a deli counter there.  The range includes schnitzels, spring rolls, kebabs, breaded lamb chops, chicken wings, fish products and salads. Traditional Shabbat dishes will be on sale on Thursdays and Fridays. Supervision is provided by the Kashrut Division London Beth Din
In the City Munch'n'Crunch have a stand in Hatton Garden with kosher meals, sandwiches, sushi and coffee. It is located at 32 Hatton Garden, on the lower-ground floor of Jewellery Emporium. There is also Mincha there at 1:30.

-Kosher food at non-kosher hotels, restaurants etc. can be ordered from the following kosher caterers in London. They provide double-wrapped meals to any location and could also match the menu of your location.
Hermolis (KED/LBD)
Royal Cuisine (KED/LBD)

Zmanim - MyZmanim London

Minyanim - There are many shuls all over London, however there are a couple of places that have more constant Minyanim throughout the day.

Hagers (Beth Yisochor Dov Beth Hamedrash)
R' Chuna's (Beth Shmuel Synagogue)

Stamford Hill

Biala Shul (47 Moundfield Rd, London N16 6DT, UK)
Here is a list of addresses and zmanim for the above, and other places.

-Minyan in the West End could be found at the Marble Arch Synagogue. Shacharis during the week is followed by breakfast, and a kiddush on Shabbos.

-Most food products in general stores do not have a hechsher on them. This does not necessarily mean they are not kosher. For example, Coca-Cola does not have a hechsher, but it is kosher. Here is an online kosher product search that could help. Link to Android app.

Looks good to me. Certainly looks like you got things ironed out a bit. Why did you choose the Andaz over the Park Tower?

Doesn't look like my SNA is going to clear at the Park Tower while I used a DSU for the Andaz. Not yet in the window, but sold out for now.
If it does clear it's back to square one :D

Although the Andaz is better situated for Underground to GG and Windsor Castle.

Well I will give you that, it's close to the train/tube stations, but it's farther from tourist attractions. Using a DSU also makes sense. The Andaz is no doubt a nice hotel, I'm sure it'll be nice, but I don't think you'd be back to square one. You've already planned the activities!

Farther for Sundays activities (where we just need to go one-way) but closer for Fridays activities (where well walk both ways).
Plus nonstop tube to GG.

I would suggest Reubens for dinner on Sunday, and La Fiesta or Bet Hamadras (if you're feeling experimental) for Monday.

If you are anyway Ubering from HP, another good option is The Kitchen in Edgware.

Im planning my London Itin. for 2 Adults in December
I read through the thread ( or most of it) couple of questions...
We're thinking of arriving either early morning or midday and were leaving the following evening. What are the must do's we can fit in?
As far as accomodations, Is there anywhere we can stay walking distance to attractions and walking distance to minyan?
How much of a must is windsor castle, it seems like its quite out of the neighborhood....
It seems like there are a few change of guards. I've got the Buckingham palace, new windsor,Tower of london, Queen's Life Guard - Horse Guards Parade and Im sure there are more... Do they all generally take place in the morning? Does that mean i need at least two mornings in london?

Don't think about leaving the city itself assuming neither person has been to London before. Use Matt's tour for the Changing of the Guard tour, it's well  worth it.No (points) hotel is both near a shul and attractions, but the tube is excellent and likely near the hotel.

Either check in early or leave it at one of the Left Luggage facilities either in the airport or at a city train station.

Many airports don't allow checked bags earlier than 4 hours before the flight.
And left luggage will set you back some $17 per bag.

True, but we used it in Waterloo station. Sure we had to pay for it, but we only had 2 bags. It was better than schlepping them all around town for the day.

Yes, for a short trip, skip Windsor. Changing of the Guards is free. Matt has a reputation for getting you good vantage points of the ceremony (something hard to do on your own without showing up extremely early), while also providing a tour experience to explain what's going on. Most people just stand there and watch, but don't get a background history, etc. Tube just means the subway system of London.

If its only a day and a half trip according to Windsor Castle website they have someplace to store luggage and other bags while you are there. It may pay to go from LHR directly to windsor castle.
